The Calibrated Automated Thrombogram system consists of reagents and a user-friendly computer program from Thrombinoscope that is coneected to the Fluoroskan Ascent, a 96-well plate fluorometer from thermo Electron. The system compares both signals and allows the calculation of the concentration of the thrombin in time. It is sensitive to any antithrombotic drug or combinations of drugs and is therefore an excellent tool to monitor or develop treatment.
