The 10 x 10cm Vertical Device is the standard size minigel device, which is the most popular size format in the research market today. The device can run one or two gels and will accommodate all of the currently available 8 x 10cm and 10 x 10cm precast gels, including Novex and BioRad as well as gels made by the individual researcher using glass plates, spacers and combs provided with the device.
The 10 x 20cm Vertical Device offers the ability to run a unique 10 x 20cm size gel which allows a significantly greater number of samples to be run in a mini gel format. This device is designed for those labs running a large number of samples that enjoy the minigel format, including quality control labs, expression labs, etc.
